Trendy tableware: from catwalk to catering
Glass and porcelain manufacturer LSA International has revealed the eagerly anticipated designs for its Autumn/Winter 2008 collection.
The company's creative director Monika Lubkwoska-Jonas, known for combining vintage designs with contemporary shapes, said she had incorporated themes of "pure white, clear glass and folk imagery" in LSA International's new collection.
The vintage-style Aurellia line features a range of tall-stemmed glasses, champagne flutes and a wine carafe, while the more masculine Anton collection boasts a variety of elegant glasses.
"She designs two new collections each year, taking her inspiration straight from the catwalk," a company spokeman explained.
LSA International, a European firm, has over 25 years experience in the industry and offers contemporary tableware for everyday eating, as well as fine-dining wares for more formal occasions.
The new collection, which is available now via the company's website, is set to be exhibited at various international trade fairs in Paris, Frankfurt and London.
